Tourist
Board Star Ratings
The Tourist Board star rating standard for Holiday Parks and Caravan and
Camping Parks has been developed to reflect consumer expectations and has
quality at its heart.
The ratings have been developed in response to extensive research into what
visitors are looking for and reflect the overall quality of the Holiday Park.
Parks are visited annually by trained, impartial assessors and a rating of
from one to five Stars is awarded. This is based on over 50 separate aspects
including cleanliness, environment and the quality of the facilities and
service provided. The highest rating of Five Star is reserved for those Parks
of exceptional quality, which also provide specific key facilities and services.
What standards to expect at each rating level...
As an owner with Park Resorts you should experience the utmost in quality
service at all times, whether you choose to enjoy the benefits of holiday
home ownership at a 5 Star Park or a 3 Star Park.
Five Star -
Exceptional: At St. Margaret's Bay and Shurland Dale, our 5 Star
Parks, superb quality standards can be expected
along with the highest levels of customer care.
All facilities will be maintained in pristine condition
in attractive surroundings.
Four Star -
Excellent: Most of our Parks fall into this category.
At each of our 4 Star Parks you can expect careful
attention to detail in the provision of all services
and facilities. Four Star Parks rank among the
industry's best.
Three Star -
Just a few of our Parks are recognised in this category which represents the industry standard.
The range of facilities provided may vary from
Park to Park, but they will all be of a very good
standard and be well maintained.
None of our Parks fall below the three Star category, we are improving our current 3 Star Parks so expect that all of our Parks will be above the industry standard next season.
Scottish
and Welsh Tourist Board
In the same way, the
Scottish Tourist Board has graded our 2 Scottish
Holiday Parks, and the Welsh Tourist Board has
graded our 3 Welsh Parks.

been awarded the David Bellamy Conservation Award

Resorts win Mega Growth Award at the Hertfordshire Business Awards
We were delighted to
accept the prestigious Mega Growth Award at the
Hertfordshire Business Awards in November 2006.
This award is a fantastic achievement and shows
just how far the company has grown since it was
established just 6 years ago.
In that time we have seen rapid growth and vast improvements in all areas
of the business from multi million pound developments on our Holiday Parks
to investing in quality caravans and outstanding members of staff. This
recognition is really something to be proud of.
