Park Rules, Warranty & Insurance

If you become an owner with Park Resorts, you will be invited to sit down with the General Manager and talk through every aspect of holiday home ownership. All the terms and conditions, Park rules, billing dates and fine detail will be explained so that you understand exactly what they will mean to you. This is the perfect opportunity to ask any questions and really put your mind at rest.

You will find that this is almost unique in the industry but we find that this gives our customers extra assurances that you are making the right decision and backs up our promise in our Owners Charter.

Our Owners Charter
We are committed to delivering the highest standards of service to every one of our present and future holiday home owners.

We aim to provide an individual and personal service, delivered in a prompt, honest and courteous manner. We endeavour to always communicate in plain English.

We strive to understand, provide and satisfy your needs as an owner and look after you in an affordable, safe and caring environment.

We respect and value your custom and promise this commitment to service now and always.

Park Resorts operates safe and secure Holiday Parks and we have a number of important rules to ensure the well being of both customers and team members alike. As a family Park operator, we must ensure that the terms and conditions of ownership together with Park Rules are strictly adhered to at all times.

But, don't worry, they are there to protect you as much as us...

  • Gas Fire
  • Floor (Shower and Bathroom Floor - 3 months warranty)

All holiday homes receive a pre-delivery inspection by the Owners Elite Team to ensure that it is complete and in good working order. This pre-delivery inspection includes checking that the water and gas joints are tight and not leaking.
What does the insurance cover?
The cover includes damage or loss to both the structure and contents of the caravan, however there are limitations. Please refer to the Summary of Cover for detailed information. This document is available in the Owners Enquiry Centre or can be sent to you on request.

Do we have to insure through Jardine Lloyd Thomson?
No, every customer has a choice to select his or her own insurance cover. Our agreement with our customers, entered into at the time of purchase, stipulates that insurance is a requirement and that should customers choose their own, we will require proof of cover.
As we are able to negotiate a group policy, we believe the cover, premium and prompt/fair settlement of claims will be difficult to beat so please make sure that any alternative policy provides the same levels of cover for your holiday home.

If I claim, will my annual premium go up?
There is no penalty for making a claim; whilst all insurance companies look at the over-all claims they receive in a year, the annual premiums are negotiated on a group basis, not on individual claims.

What happens if I make a claim?
The Park team will help you obtain any quotes or estimates for any work that may be needed and these are sent, together with a claim form, to the Park Resorts office who will then pass it to the insurers.
Insurers will contact the caravan owner and the contractor within 2 weeks to advise what will happen next and give authority for the work to be carried out. Once the contractor has completed the work, the contractor should then send the invoice for the work direct to the insurers who will pay the contractor direct, less the £50 excess. The owner must pay the excess direct to the contractor.

How much is the excess?
The excess on every claim made is £50.

What are the benefits of having a RAMTECH Alarm System?
Owners who have a RAMTECH alarm system will receive an annual discount on their insurance premium. This is in recognition of the additional security measures taken by the caravan owner.
